A dislocated knee, lower leg fracture and ruptured ACL
/The Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run is special to me as it was my first hit out last year following a sporting incident in early 2015 which resulted in a dislocated knee, lower leg fracture and ruptured ACL.
A knee reco and plenty of rehab later got me to the start of the 10km with my daughter Allie. I was "allowed" to tackle the distance as I promised my physio I would run/walk it which I did. ( I had company from a couple of other runners with injuries! )
The atmosphere was amazing and after almost a year off running I couldn't have been happier to start back with this one.
So looking forward to running the full 10km in 2017 with my other daughter Zoe :)
